As a Site Lead, you will be a strong leader who’s capable of managing a small team of operatives daily through a hands-on approach. You’ll be an integral part of our manufacturing and installation teams and your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
The role of a Site Lead is varied and would suit someone who is hands-on and has experience working in an outdoor environment, in all weather conditions and has good knowledge of landscaping, fencing and groundworks. Experience of woodwork/carpentry is desirable, however a full UK driving license is essential.
As this is a working position you will be physically fit, enjoy manual work and have a well-rounded skill set in using various tools and machinery. As the main link between site teams, management, and clients you will ensure your sites are run efficiently, managed to programme and adhere to H&S and CDM regulations and guidelines. You will be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, have excellent attention to detail and have good communicational skills to achieve an efficient and cohesive working environment.
TouchWood Play is a Bristol-based company but you will be required to work on sites throughout the UK and on occasions overseas for blocks of 1-4 weeks at a time. A willingness to stay away Monday to Friday is essential. While away, you will be accommodated in high-quality Airbnbs, with your own personal space.
